Carles Puyol Started his International soccer career for Spanish national team at the 2000 Olympics and also was a part of Spanish National team for 2002 FIFA World Cup, Euro 2004, 2006 FIFA World Cup and the Euro 2008. He has been played/capped 66 times. He holds the record for most caps for Spain national football team as a Catalan player, after he broke Sergi Barjuán's record of 56 caps on 17 October 2007.
